Post secondary students may purchase a “Semester Pass”, valid for May 1st to August 31st for $290.00.

Secondary School and Continued Education: Current Photo – ID issued by your educational institution or a St. Catharines Transit Continuing Education or Secondary School Authorization form may be requested at time of boarding and at time of purchase. Talk with your school official to get a form.
31 day passes allow for 31 days of consecutive, unlimited use of services from the first day activation, by the fare box on any bus.

All fares are only valid on St. Catharines Transit buses servicing routes within St. Catharines and Thorold.
All passes are Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable.
Proper Identification may be requested at time of purchase and / or at time of boarding.
Lost, damaged or stolen passes ARE NOT replaced or refunded.
31 Day passes are eligible for the Government of Canada Public Transit Tax Credit up to June 30, 2017. Keep your receipt from time of purchase.
Travelling to Welland, Niagara Falls or Niagara College Campuses
Take your St. Catharines Transit bus and make connections at the downtown terminal for Niagara College Campuses or at Brock University for Welland Transit. Use your 31 Day pass or 10 ride cards along with a cash fare of $2 or deposit $6 into the fare box and the driver will issue you a transfer saying hub 7,8 which you can then give to the driver of Niagara College – NOTL, Niagara College – Welland at the downtown terminal. Passengers can also make connections for Welland Transit at Brock University using the hub 7, 8 transfer. Passengers that are not familiar with this transfer system will be asked to pay the difference in the fare when boarding.
Passengers travelling from the St Catharines downtown bus terminal to go directly to Niagara College Glendale Campus in Niagara on the Lake or to Niagara College Welland Campus must show a valid Niagara College student identification card along with the current validation sticker to board the buses. Passengers without proper student identification may use a 31 day pass or 10 ride cards along with a $2 cash fare or deposit $6 in to the fare box.
The semester pass is also valid on the Niagara College buses.
