Travel between St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie and Port Colborne. The introductory $5 Niagara Region Transit fare allows you to travel in one continuous direction along the shortest route, making as many transfers as needed to reach your destination.

You are not required to pay an additional fee when transferring between Niagara Region Transit and any of the local transit services.

16 Brock Summer service starts Monday April 30

NOTE: 16 Brock Glenridge summer schedule: Effective Monday April 30, 2012 route 16 Brock Glenridge Monday to Friday daytime service will go back to 1/2 hour service using the route 16 SUMMER SCHEDULE of the rider guide departing the downtown terminal at :15 and :45 minutes after the hour. The FALL/Winter 15 minute service schedule will resume Monday September 3, 2012.

Note: While this summer schedule of the 16 Brock Glenridge is being used please be reminded that during the Monday – Friday daytime service the 4 and the 16 are interlined. Outbound route 4 arrives at Brock University it becomes the inbound 16 and the outbound 16 arriving at Brock University becomes the inbound 4

31 day pass

A 31 day pass has replaced all monthly passes. These passes are only sold at the Downtown Terminal. A 31 day pass will be the same price and valid for 31 consecutive days from the first day of activating your pass in the farebox. 31 day passes are available for adults, seniors and students.

Example: If you purchase your pass from the Downtown Terminal on on October 5, 2010 and did not board a bus until October 7, 2010. You would insert your pass into the farebox for the first time to be validated. The farebox will print the first use date of Oct 7, 2010 and will print a expired date of Nov 7, 2010 Click here for sample and explanation on how to use your 31 day pass.

All bus tickets are no longer accepted after NOVEMBER 30, 2010. Click here for sample and explanation on how to use your ride cards.

NOTE: All passes, ride cards, and transfers must not be folded, wrinkled, torn or wet. A rejected pass could result in the payment of a cash fare.

Welland & Niagara Falls connections from Brock University & Niagara College Glendale Campus

St.Catharines Transit passengers wanting to go to Welland or Niagara Falls. Use a St.Catharines Transit bus pass, ride card or $2.75 cash fare and for an additional $1.50 in the St. Catharines Transit fare box you will get a transfer from the driver punched 7,8 which is then given to the next driver at the Brock University Hub or at Niagara College Glendale Campus. Return fares vary slightly depending on which city. For arrival / departure times and return fare information please refer to the Niagara Transit and Welland Transit website. NOTE: During the summer months when Brock and Niagara College are not in Fall/winter classes Niagara Transit does not have service to Niagara Falls from these 2 hubs.
